Introduction
We are delighted to announce that a retreat centre was acquired in May 2007. It is an ancient vast court-yarded farmhouse located in Florennes, to the south-west of Namur in Belgium. We will gradually renovate and restructure the farm buildings on the basis of architectural plans drawn up according to Rinpoche’s design.
This year, we will change the roof of the front wing of the building, run the concrete paving stone of the Temple, build a new kitchen, put in a dining room, temporary sanitary facilities, windows and doors, and cordon off a temporary car park.
It will be a very special opportunity for us all to be able to use the facilities of the new centre to receive more teachings, to make long-term retreats in the future and to assist in the on-going development of Patrul Rinpoche’s activity.
