We are happy to announce that the First Edition of the Nangch\u00f6 M\u00f6nlam \u0f53\u0f44\u0f0b\u0f46\u0f7c\u0f66\u0f0b\u0f66\u0fa8\u0f7c\u0f53\u0f0b\u0f63\u0f58\u0f0d \u2014the Great Buddhist Prayer Festival for Peace\u2014 will take place in Dharma City from 19 to 21 August 2022 in the presence of Patrul Rinpoche. M\u00f6nlams are prayers of aspiration, aspirations to free all sentient beings from all forms of suffering such as wars, epidemy, physical and mental pain, and for all to achieve stable peace.<\/p>\n

Not only is it a time meaningfully spent but also it is a great joy to pray together wishing the best for all, actually benefiting all those connected to these prayers, and training our mind to maintain altruistic motivation.<\/p>\n

The m\u00f6nlams will also be broadcasted online (information for the life-stream will be published later).<\/p>\n

Patrul Rinpoche has expressed the wish that the m\u00f6nlam be a donation-based annual event. It means that participation is free of charge for participants, and that all costs are covered through donations. You are welcome to make a donation, general or specific, according to your possibilities and wishes.<\/p>\n

The term ‘m\u00f6nlam’ also refers to the tradition of M\u00f6nlam Chenmo, the great prayer gathering that has historically been part of Tibetan New Year celebrations for more than 600 years. Over the last few decades, the m\u00f6nlam tradition has been revived and greatly enriched. Multiple M\u00f6nlams are held at different times during the year in Tibet, India, Nepal, and Bhutan\u2014and recently in the West.<\/p>\n

The Nangch\u00f6 M\u00f6nlam \u2014the Great Buddhist Prayer Festival for Peace\u2014 is the first ever organised in Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
